PCB Scrap Disposal and Recycling Services

At our facility, we specialize in the recycling of all types of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). This includes both populated PCBs, which contain electronic components, and unpopulated boards, which are bare circuit boards without any components. Our comprehensive recycling process not only helps to recover valuable materials such as copper, gold, silver, palladium, and other valuable metals but also ensures that we minimize environmental impact.
By recycling both populated and unpopulated PCBs, we contribute to sustainable practices and promote responsible electronic waste management.

Your company's obsolete or irreparable PCBs include heavy metals and may have valuable elements like gold, palladium, silver, copper, and various hazardous materials. These should never be disposed of in landfills.

Most printed circuit boards are ENIG Electroless nickel immersion gold with different amounts of gold, palladium, silver, and copper.
Also, populated boards have electronic components attached to them, including connectors, diodes, capacitors, inductors, and IC (integrated circuit) chips. These also contain copper, other precious metals, and hazardous materials that shall not be disposed of in landfills.

At BW Recycling, Inc., we offer recycling solutions for circuit boards across a variety of types, including telecommunications circuit cards, network communication boards, circuit packs, cell sites, Computer PC boards (PC motherboards and internal boards), as well as boards from laptops, notebooks, and tablets. We also handle bare boards, which are unpopulated. Typically, we can pay for the boards by weight, and we provide a certificate of recycling to confirm the proper disposal of PCBs. Our rates are competitive because we operate as a direct refinery.
Additionally, we purchase all types of printed circuit boards from cell phones, smartphones, and tablets for recycling.

Complimentary Collection of Printed Circuit Boards for Recycling Across the United States

We provide PCB collection services throughout the United States. In most instances, the collection is offered at no charge, contingent upon the quantity and type of circuit boards designated for recycling.
Please view sample images of the printed circuit boards we purchase.

We are always ready to buy all kinds of populated PCBs and plain (unpopulated) PCBs. We pick up nationwide, if you have green boards or any other electronic scrap, we will be glad to have the chance to recycle it for you. Please contact us or fill out the quick form on the right, and we will contact you shortly with all of the information you need about our recycling program.

Printed circuit boards market prices

There are many types of printed circuit boards with different precious metals contents. Some boards may contain more silver, some more gold, and others only contain copper. With our experience, we might be able to estimate the amounts of the precious metals we might recover from the boards by looking at it, but there is no set market price for all circuit boards.

Data confidentiality when recycling Printed circuit boards and NDA.

Circuit boards and various recyclable materials may harbor sensitive information and are deemed confidential. Accordingly, we provide a comprehensive destruction process for printed circuit boards that comply with ITAR regulations, available upon request. Furthermore, we are willing to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon request.

More information about PCB recycling.

In electronics, printed circuit boards, or PCB, also known as green boards, are used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive pathways, or traces, etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate. Alternative names are printed wiring board (PWB), and etched wiring board. Populating the board with electronic components forms a printed circuit assembly (PCA), also known as a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), this technology is considered to be low-cost.

In the recycling process of these boards, we can recover up to 99% of the precious metals used to make the board, we are the actual recyclers, and most of the process is done in our plant, which enables us to pay high prices for your PCBs, as well as help you with a proper disposal solution for your scrap PCBs.

PCBs we do not buy

  • We do not purchase or acquire scrap printed circuit boards from televisions or Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitors.
  • We refrain from purchasing printed circuit boards (PCBs) from stereos, video cassette recorders (VCRs), or any other boards associated with consumer electronics.
